Autosport's report of this race in March 1963 shows the places as
1. D Morgan
2. C Dietrich
3. C Gounis
4. B Cunningham
5 A Patterson
BUT Luigi Orsini's book on FJ shows Devos 4th and Hotchkiss 5th
Assuming I'm not muddling two races, can any one, perhaps with a US magazine, clarify the correct results (preferably full results)?
Thanks

The relevant Black Book gives the same result as Autosport, with the addition of Hansgen retiring. They don't have a full list, but do mention Hotchkiss as an entry (but not Devos)

I suspect thats just where Paul got his information, but if I can make out the text in Orsini, he seems to say Cunningham retired having been second. The relevant Black Book gives the same result as Autosport, with the addition of Hansgen retiring. They don't have a full list, but do mention Hotchkiss as an entry (but not Devos)
The Briggs Cunningham site http://www.briggscun....html?YEAR=1963
hedges its bets by saying both DNF "fell out whilst leading" and 4th ??
