The classic aviation and car junkies among us (just about everyone) might like to know that the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight is doing a display over Prescott hillclimb at 2pm on Saturday May 23rd, the first day of the Bugatti Owners Club French weekend. So that's presumably the Lancaster plus a Spitfire and a Hurricane, six Merlins a'throbbing. On Sunday a Stampe will do an aerobatic display.
Last year we had five Veyrons splashing up the hill in fast convoy. This year the works are bringing their Veyron plus an EB110.
Lots of classic French car clubs, two days of competition on the Hill, should be a memorable weekend.
