Spot on Rob! The 'Ferrari spokesperson' pictured in the link above is Joanne Marshall - the acceptable face of Ferrari's generally suspect Classiche operation, in which the modern Factory preys profitably upon the naivete, ignorance and insecurity of so many present-day owners.
If you have an 'iffy' Ferrari they will allegedly 'fix' it for you. The truly discerning market shows no signs of swallowing the notion. But lower to middle market pressures mean many owners of 'iffy' cars these days HAVE to afford it.
Even so, in twenty or thirty years' time connoisseurs will surely look back upon Classiche as the operation which obliterated the tangible real-life fabric of many interesting Ferraris, because for every knowing 'iffy-car' owner there seems to be a naive owner of a respectable one - ripe for the picking...
