that is what you would expect but there are a couple of modes hidden there: time trial, drifting etc

But still, my mate (no Xbox Live) says that Leaderboards cannot be reached without Xbox live. Futermore, the eurogamer.net review also says that it is a shame the excellent time trial mode can only be reached from Xbox Live.

I don't have an Xbox, and I've never seen or played Forza. I have a PS3 though..

I would like to know how it compares to Gran Turismo, and for those who are lucky enough to have tested with a steering wheel, how Forza played with an Xbox steering wheel compares to let's say Gran Turismo 4 with a G25?

Thanks.

Unfortunately, the feel of the xbox 360 wheel is bad. I'm really not trolling when I say that the feel is god awful and the build quality is a sack of crap. Old pc racing wheels (think red logitech momo force old) provide better build quality and much much better force feedback. Unfortunately you can't use them on the xbox. I would rather go for the gamepad than endure the embarassment of using a wheel which has build quality that borders on "insulting." Maybe it was the forza 3 ff programming, but I doubt the 360 wheel would feel any better on games like GTR2, LFS, or anything else. I love forza 3, but only with the controller.using the wheel is like hopelessly duping yourself into thinking you can drive.

Isn't here another wheel that works with teh xbox 360? I can't believe that the developers of Forza 3 would make such a great game if it can't be played properly with a wheel for the console it was made for.

I keep hearing that the Fanatec Porsche wheel is the only decent one that runs on Xbox and PC/PS3 also.

Yep, under the name Teqqles. I have to say that Forza 3 really didn't catch me like Forza 2, though I think that might be because my friends have not played it so much

I ordered Forza 3 Ultimate Edition today from Amazon for £13.08 (!) today. It's a good deal as it includes all downloadable content, thus saving many pennies.

I got as far as I was going to with Forza 2, so I'm looking forward to this. I'm not a great fan of stamp collecting virtual cars, but the track list looks good:

*grumbles about it not being on PS3*

Shift2 will fix that.

Um....why would anyone want to drive a Porsche Cayenne in a game?

Interesting list of real tracks, very close to the Shift 2 list, but S2 will have tire wear, track degradation (i.e. marbles), pits, weather and the full GT1 field. Also on Xbox.

Took something around six hours to make, what with all the little stars for the space effect. :p

Nah.

Its not as horrendous as the first shift, but its crap with a wheel as in far too loose, and the comedy oversteer is still there. Its like someone bashed GTR and Hot pursuit into each other.
