they look fine to me, especially the Red Bull, it's just gorgeous.
The Red Bulls do look nice. I suppose I've gotten used to them. The Renault and BMW are still ugly though.

Side on isn't too bad but the front view of that awful, awful front wing? Terrible - it makes the car look like a fecking snowplough.

If the rear wing were as wide as last year, but smaller (similar to Monza spec) the cars would look better balanced in my opinion.

I agree that all the little aerodynamic apendages should have been shaved off, but not the giant front wing and Ikea bookcase at the back.

I prefer the look of the GP2 cars and the Indy cars tbh...

No, they still look butt ugly. And overtaking is no better. Brilliant.

+1
But the RB5 is by far the best looking of the 09 cars...

Red Bull looks good, sometimes the platypus nose stands out.
Ferrari and Mclaren look good.
Dont see much of BMW.

Brawn the plain jane but ok
I find the Brawn one of the worst offenders in the head on ugliness stakes. The dayglo yellow nose in conjunction with the dayglo bits on the wing endplates just emphasises how bloody wide the front wing really is. The piddly little rear wing just makes the front wing look even bigger - the rest of the car looks like it's hiding behind in shame. On the other hand, I really like the sculpted sidepods and the clean look of the 'no fiddly aero bits' bodywork. They can't get rid of the wheel covers fast enough as far as I'm concerned as they look like some Boy Racer after-market stick-on go-faster crap.

To answer the thread title; yes, but I don't like it. When rumours of Schumacher's return appeared on various websites, many included an image of one of his last outings, and I was once again convinced the dimensions of the 2008 wings are much more to my preference.
But by god - the rear wings now look so bloody wide!
...and the front wing so narrow. Shame we couldn't have the wide rear wings with the wide front wing eh?

I quite like the Williams and McLaren ones out of any of them, but they're still not very nice.

Cheers for that Scotracer - 09 car with wider rear wing looks soooo much better...
