before the start of the season that:

1. Jenson would win the first 6/7 races
2. Jenson would lead the WDC
3. McLaren were involved in a lie scandal
4. Hamilton would until the 10th race
5. There would be a threat break-away series
6. Renault banned for 1 race
7. BMW pulling out of F1
8. Mosley resigning end of the season
9. And Schumacher returning to F1

I would have cut off my right toe.....

As Murray Walker once said "Yes, the beauty of this race is that it is totally unpredictable" :stoned: :stoned: :stoned:

ROLL ON THE NEXT RACE! :)

1995.

From memory, didn't Alesi win in Canada? Maybe even with Berger second?

Anyone got Forix?

I'd say 94.

Alesi won in Canada, with the two Jordans taking the other two podium places.

That was the only win for a Ferrari or a McLaren that year.

Sadly the racing up the front is still fairly crap, because we've had 3 really excellent seasons form a championship perspective. Imagine if this one is won by one point :drunk:

Manor get keys to the VIP. Who?

Bulgaria and Romania more likely to get a GP than USA. Say what?

Fuji replaced by Suzuka. Woo- hoo!

2009 WCC is Red Bull

And last but not least:

2009 WDC is Button/Webber/Vettel

That's  :drunk:

Second race in history to finish behind the safety car
Brawn GP 1-2 in their first race
Piquet would still be racing for Renault  :p

What about...

- Brawn comming from the ashes to be the dominant team during the first half of the season.

- Massa being hit on the head at 260kph by a 1kg spring jumping off rubens car

Oblivious to the obvious existence of radio transcripts, adored media-god Lewis Hamilton is forced to lie, officially, by Team McLaren to whom he has sworn allegiance to for all time and they, to him. At stake, 1 point. And his trust in them. And Dave Ryan. And Ron Dennis. Did that really happen? Sorry I brought it up. Better to forget the whole sickening incident.

Oops, that was #3. Sorry.

If you would have told me before the start of the season that:

1. Jenson would win the first 6/7 races
2. Jenson would lead the WDC for most of the year/the whole year
3. Button, Webber or Vettel become WDC
4. Hamilton would not win until the 10th race
5. There would be a threat break-away series
6. Renault banned for 1 race
7. BMW pulling out of F1
8. Mosley resigning end of the season
9. Schumacher returning to F1
10. Kimi Raikkonen participating both in the World Rallye Championship and the F1 Championship

I would have said: WOWW!!!

x. McLaren were involved in a lie scandal

I would have believed that one, sorry to say. Many of them lie, just McLaren does it the most amateurish.

May I add the notion that the grid is closer than it has ever been before? From the front to the back, there's maybe one and a half seconds covering the spread. Last year, it was one Ferrari and McLaren ahead of everyone else by one and a half seconds.

I was saying a few months back that the season was becoming boring with Brawn dominating. I gladly take back what I've said. :stoned:
