The best ever Marcos meeting was held at Prescott last weekend, and as it was the 50th anniversary, Marcos cars from five decades came together at this lovely place . Even the announced heavy rains were turned into sunshine and warm temperatures the whole weekend.
the well organized meeting showed the crowds of spectators nearly all modells , and in the focus was the racing history, from the early Luton Gullwing and Fastback-GT to the Mini Marcos and spectacular XP prototyp from 1968, which was flown in from California, as well as the 1968 LeMans car, which came freshly restored from Sweden, and the LeMans cars from 1995 and 1996.
Cor Euser presented his racing fleet and more than one time the area was foggy blue by burning rubber after starting his hill climb demonstration.
In between were lots of rarities, one of the Adams Probe design studies ( from Swizzerland) , the Costin Amigo and the Martin V8 powered coupe.
In the centre of all was nearly 80 years old Jem Marsh , who presented his new book with lots of rare shots of the Marcos racing history.
And all over the place you could meet race-drivers from the 1960ies, many of them began their career in the wooden wonders.

Some terrific pictures there. what a shame that they don't have captions or anything to say what the subject is.
