I hope this hasn't been posted before.

Werner Ring (sic) is the proprietor of this wonderful website dedicated to, and featuring, the work of his late father, Willi Weber. Apparently, Werner has only just started to make his father's archive digitally available, so hopefully there will be even more content in the future. The site is German-language only, which is just as well, as the strength really lies in the images. Click on "portfolio" to get to the pictures section.
Enjoy!

(BTW, Werner seems to genuinely appreciate encouragement by way of positive comments in his guestbook, so don't hold back ;) )

That's a truly wonderful site. I'll drop Werner a mail for sure, so I'll hope to show some of those pictures on my site as well...

Brilliant site ... If you do want English for any of the pages, go and find Google Translate, then drag the English link (or whatever language you want to translate into from another) to your browser toolbar. Then any page in a foreign language you have displayed when you click on that tool will be instantly translated. Once you translate one page, all others translate instantly via their links.

Here's what comes up from the About page - it's not perfect by any means but way better than my 50 year old schoolboy failed German O-level:

ABOUT WILLI WEBER

My father was an avid lifetime and a passionate amateur photographer. His world consisted of small-and medium-format scenes it preferably with a sure eye for design, detail and color held through the viewfinder of his Hasselblad and Leica.

Thousands of negatives and slides from different subject areas, slumbered for decades in his archive, and just waiting in this small online gallery, an interested audience will gradually. In the early '70s, he photographed while countless motorsport Events for Nürburgring GmbH, ADAC and AVD - until after he one in the old paddock spent weekend admitted to hospital with carbon monoxide poisoning was ...

His photos were racing program, and publications such as for example, "The Nurburgring in the picture" and published to show and full of atmosphere of the myth of past Nurburgring Days.
