Is it true that this years Bathurst 1000 is having a support race 'Formula Legends' 3-Litre F1 Cars from the late 60's?

No it isn't true. The Bathurst Classic support program has been set in stone for some time, and in fatc has gotten quite traditional in outlook. The Three Hour race for GT-Production cars, now not including the high performance Nations Cup exotics who will now have their own races, replacing Bathurst mainstay the HQ's. The third category, another Bathurst Classic (the Bathurst 1000 is a dead race 
) regular Formula Ford. With three days of practice, and all day Sunday Race and the Saturday morning Top Ten run there's no room for the category nicknamed informally by event media as 'Formula Adelaide' to squeeze onto the program. At least not without dumping FFord (whose entries have closed and confimrations received) and or Nations Cup (the countries second most popular home category).
No open wheeler more powerful than a Formula Ford has raced at Bathurst since at least the mid-70's. Ray believes that faster cars like Formula Adelaide or Formula Holden could run there safely.
Did the Tasman Cup cars the 'Formula Adelaide' races at the Adleiade 500 are based on ever run at Bathurst?
The Formula Adelaide cars that ran at the old Adelaide Formula One circuit back earlier in the year consisted of several 60's 3.0 Formula Ones, 1.5 litre Formula One's and the hybrid 2.5 litre Tasman Cup cars. Ferraris, Loti, Brabhams, McLarens, BRMs and Coopers abounded. The races were dominated this year by a trio of Lotus 49's.

One thing I will miss from the Classic Bathurst weekend is the Healey race. Now that was entertaining!!!

Damn shame, the 49's, 312's etc would be magic around the Mountain.
Ah well at least they have Trans-Am and Classic Sports Cars (D-Type Oh yeah!) at the Race of a Thousand Years coming up at Adelaide.

Cars that ran competitively in the Tasman races and also raced in Gold Star (etc) races at Bathurst were:
Mildren Brahbam BT11 Climax (first car to lap at 100mph)
Stillwell Brabham BT11 Climax
Bob Jane/Scuderia Veloce Brabham BT11 Climax (Spencer Martin followed Bartlett over the whole of that 100mph lap)
Leo Geoghegan's Lotus 39 Repco V8
Scuderia Veloce Brabham Repco V8 (Phil West/Greg Cusack/Brian Page)
Bob Jane Brabham Repco V8 (John Harvey)
Niel Allen McLaren M10B (outright lap record holder on original circuit)
Mildren Brabham Alfa V8 (Gardner/Bartlett)
McLaren M4a FVA (Courage/Allen)
Brabham Climax (Gardner/Gibson/Green)
Mildren Waggott (Stewart)
Lotus 59 Waggott (Geoghegan)
In addition, Brabham ran a car in 1969 that would have been competitive in the Tasman, but wasn't entered for that series.
Bathurst, indeed, saw many very competitive cars.
