I own this old tech inspection sticker from the 1967 Daytona 24-hour race. I thought I'd see if anybody else has a collection of these that they wouldn't mind posting. I'd especially enjoy seeing examples from Daytona and Sebring but no doubt would enjoy seeing those from other races as well.

Anyone game???

Hi Jon,
There are several threads in the search feature here at TNF concerning "Tech Stickers" but none have presented much information.

I find this strange because of the vast number of "tech stickers" used through the years.

As an event organizer you want your tech stickers' distribution well-controlled, and you want them non-transferable. The few-ness of them and their fragility once applied to a rollover bar or windscreen might explain the relative rareness of them.

I hand-made the tech stickers for one Holtville event, using Contacâ„¢ paper and a re-usable rubber stamp. Shaped like Peter Max flowers and in fluorescent colors, they were not a hit, even in the "flower-power" era.

I do have one unused sticker from another H'ville event, made by the Chief Scrutineer: Posted Image

I did try and look around for previous posts about tech stickers and did not find a case where anybody had actually posted any. That was my reasoning behind the new post. I am a bit surprised that nobody seems to have photographed any of these. Frank, I do appreciate you posting what you had. Thank you. I do not recall seeing one so "home-made" looking and with a little bit of humor involved but that's what makes this subject interesting and why I am hoping some people might eventually post more here on the subject.
