The smart would be on Rosberg but who do you think is likely to follow him to take the chequered flag?

I'd say Liuzzi.

Rosberg will win a race for sure. Maybe Sutil too?

Rosberg at some point.

Maybe Hulkenburg will win a race at some point. He was up against one of the most experienced GP2 fields as the only rookie, and he beat everyone.

Speaking of which, how many grand prix winners in total have there been already? I vaguely recall Kubica being the 99th, Kovalainen the 100th, Vettel the 101st, and Webber the 102nd, or some such similar order.

Yep, Kovalienen was 100th different Grand Prix winner. So there's 102 so far.

Prob won't be next, but out of all the drivers, Heidfeld is deserving of a win

Under normal circumstances, this year I see only Rosberg to take his first GP win. He is the only current top driver without victories. In abnormal conditions Heidfeld, Sutil and maybe Hülkenberg can also take a top spot.
And looking to those names I have an impression that F1 is becoming something like German national sport.

I would also say Hulkenberg. I actually believe he will probably win a race before Rosberg.

Comes and goes....we had the Italian and French waves, than the Brazilian, now the German. And there is always several UK drivers as well. It reflects the fact that teams, manufacturers, sponsors are heavily based there. Brazil is a bit the exception on the positive side, Japan on the negative

I would say Nico Rosberg. The other Nico (Hulkenberg) is my next candidate, but not this year.

BAR/Honda/Brawn have in the past had big drops in performance so I'm not sure Rosberg will have the car (and due to MS as a teammate be in the position) to win in 2010 and of the rest I think Bruno is the most likely to get promoted most quickly in 2011/12 into a car with the performance to win.

Nico Rosberg will win one in either 2010 or 2011, but if he doesn't perhaps Hülkenberg can break Williams's drought? I donät think Heidferld will have the machinery take a Grand Prix victory everm which is a huge unjustice to the service he has delivered over the last decade :well:

Hulkenburg is on a long term Williams contract so if he wins it means Williams wins, which I'm all for!

Ehm... but as you say, Barrichello has already won several GP, that is why is not mentioned in this thread....

I vote Rosberg, if Mercedes has not fallen behind, he might well win 1-2 races this year. Other than that I see no new winners this year.

Depending who makes the best car out of Sauber, Force India, Merc and Williams, it'll be Kobayashi, Sutil, Rosberg or Hulkenberg.

And thats as specific as my predictions go at this stage!
