All the helmet topics on the go got me wondering if anyone had designed any possible 2010 team liveries. I couldn't find any but I did stumble across a bunch of great liveries people have designed for Formula 1 cars that I thought would be interesting to take a look at. The first Audi could almost be real!

Yeh those are great. The potential 2010 ones are the best to look at I think.

I'd be interested to see your liveries of the Renault and Sauber cars for this year :clap:

A reminder of the house rules;

* Posting pictures on the BB. Images whose copyright you do not own; that reside on other websites than autosport.com or yours, should be posted as a LINK only. If it's one odd image - the copyright holder and the website owner may overlook. But some here are overdoing it, posting hi-res images from other websites, which not only infringes their copyright but also hijacks their bandwidth. So use [url ][ /url] please.

Noted Buttoneer, but just to add the website it's from - deviant art - is a user submission site, where people show off their work, it has 'share' options so people can post the images elsewhere, forums, facebook twitter etc etc

If that's the case, attribute the pics and leave them as image links not URL's. There's no problem as long as the copyright is acknowledged.

Seconded.

I would mind seeing a car run by Triple Eight Race Engineering ... although my reason is probably the most specious of all - I reckon their team logo is awesome and would look great on the side of a Formula 1 car. Or any car, really.

Are you kidding? -- that's BEAUTIFUL!!!!! Much more pleasing than the last ten years of F1 design.

Could be a bit confusing if they run their V8 livery :drunk:

Of course they'd have to find a different sponsor. I'm not that stupid.

The potential to end up disappointed with the real thing is huge with those threads..

The Ferrari with black wings is such an obvious one.. they should wake the hell up already! :mad:

I think that's a touch more realistic than the Ferrari with no wheels ...

Concerning liveries I miss one thing a lot: the fact that we can't see the numbers on the cars anymore you can hardly see them nowadays. Back in the '80s you immediately recognised a driver because of the big nr. on each car, now you have to look at the helmets which is sometimes hard.

Never said you were. Making a slight joke at how confusing it would be. Calm down.

That's also why they introduced coloured camera mounts. Something else that is very difficult to spot, and the reason why I appreciated Honda's rear wings in 2007 and 2008 since it made it that much easier. At the opposite end of the scale, I don't think Force India's numbers actuall appeared anywhere on their 2009 cars.
