Hey guys, just wanted to tell you all about a new management sim thats nearing release. (i realise this is the racing sim thread, but there was no where else to start this, thought may as well start here)

For those of you that dont know GPRM is a Racing Management sim, you are put in charge of a team of your choice, and have to try to guide them to success. Its similair to other F1 management sims such as GPW or... F1Manager! However GPRM has a lot of features those don't, for example the ability to take charge of other teams if you get fired from your own (of course there has to be a vacancy at those other teams too!).
The initial idea was to make a better F1 management game than all those other sims, however they were unable to get the F1 license so the game is being released without official team and driver names. As a result, the liveries that were initially designed for the F1 teams in game neef to be scrapped and replaced with fictional ones. The exciting part (well i think anyway) is that the team are giving people a change to get involved by providing a template on their website for people to download. You can draw your own livery using these templates and submit them to the team, and then get a chance to see these liveries rendered in 3D so you can see what they really look like.
If you want further information on this it can be found here http://www.gprm.co.u...hp?topic=5318.0 Along with the template!

This game has been in development for a very long time, and was due for release at the end of 2009, unfortunately this wasn't achieved as one tester pointed out the GUI felt very outdated (it was originally done in 2003!), so the latter part of last year was spent re-designing the GUI, in an effort to show off their effort they set up a facebook group, on which you can see the latest screenshots of the game, (with real names etc, which will be changed before release) as well as a few of the livery's designed by some fans! The group can be found here http://www.facebook....1.4249779815..1 so join and give your support.

In addition to this they set up a Youtube channel and a Twitter feed so that fans could follow its progress more easily as it gets closer to its release. Here are the links to those:

So if your interested in playing a great management sim join the GPRM forums and various groups to follow the latest news, of course id be happy to try and answer your questions the best i can here as well. But im sure any fans of previous manager games will lvoe this when it comes out :)

This looks very nice! I like the idea of 3D liveries and such. Leaves other online managers in the dust in that regard, at least.

Ah its not another online management game. As i said its more like say... Ea's F1Manager etc.

Anyway as a further update this has recently been announced:

If your livery is chosen as one of the winning liveries to be put in game, you will also receive a BETA test key, so theres a little more incentive to design a good one, a chance to play the game before anyone else!
