Hi chaps,

For the last two years i've stayed at the campsite located close to the Stowe and Club (by the all terrain vehicle course). I want to give them a call in advance but I can't remember for the life of me what the name of it was!

If you are driving past the circuit (with the circuit on the left), you go over two roundabouts then its the first campsite on the left hand side.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Silverstone themselves are providing camping this year, they say the campsites are within 250 metres of Stowe, so maybe give the track a call first
You have to book 3 day GA tickets to be able to book the campsites, HTH.

Cheers Paul

Got my tickets already, this campsite (the one i'm thinking of) works on a 'first come, first serve' basis. However its got electric points for motorhomes and i'm trying to find out if you can reserve them or not.

Thanks again, I'll try Silverstone

I've got my 3 day tickets booked also :) and the Silverstone campsite for my caravan
They say hookups will be available, but when I asked the booking office no one could confirm
Over the past 30 odd years I've camped or caravaned at the GP, in 77 and 79 Silverstone had their own Campsite near the main entrance, when they stopped that we went to Litchlake every year except the wet April one (2002) Litchlake wouldn't let caravans on cos' they were sinking in the mud, so we found another one on the A43 that towed you in with a tractor  and out again at the end.
I'm really looking forward to this years race, it will be the best season for years
