Simbin announced yesterday they are working on a new GTR title! There are still no details but it looks that the FIA GT Championship might be the focus of the game again.

I'm praying it won't be a console only release. The RACE and GTR evo series were disappointing for me, they really lacked the diversity that made gtr2 so great. Hopefully they'll get this aspect right. Be interesting to see how it compares with rfactor2.
I'd say fia gt1 is a given to be the focus of the game, would be nice if they could squeeze gt3 into it as well (although i hear there may be licensing issues with that).

More accurate may be: GPL = F-1, GTR2 = F-2, rF = F-3, all other comp. simulaters = support races. Console 'games' = Fan Area 'kiddie rides'
