Reported in the Telegraph today, albeit after his demise in January, it seems only right to mark the demise of Lord Raglan, an excellent motoring enthusiast and supporter of our sport. Those with a VSCC and Bugatti inclination will know how highly he was regarded

Truly one of the best: when Fitzroy Raglan had given up racing, he used to drive his Type 51 from Monmouthshire to Cadwell Park, give it to John Venables-Llewellyn to drive in the Williams Trophy race, and then drive it home afterwards.

There's a BBC News item with a nice bit of video here.

I understand that a Memorial Service is to he held for Fitzroy at
Hereford Cathedral on
Thursday April 22nd 2010 at 2pm.
