In the 1947 Mille Miglia car #125 is variously described as an O.R.C.A. Fiat or an Orca Fiat (Luigi Orsini describes it as an O.R.C.A.). It was driven by Savoia and M Grossi, and did not finish.
I have failed to find out anything about the car or the drivers. Does anyone have any information about either - even better, does anyone have a photo of the car in the '47 MM?
Any info would be greatly appreciated

At least there is a model of the 1947 MM Fiat O.S.C.A. 1100 Sport. The O.R.C.A. doesn't exist, it 's a typo I am afraid !

ORCA stands for Officina Riparazioni Costruzione Autoveicoli and was owned by Italo Pezzoli. He produced several sportsracing cars between 1946 and 1948, from Fiat and Lancia components, for the 750 and 1100cc class. A photo of the 1947 MM car and much more can be found in the book "La Sport e i suoi artigiani" by Curami & Vergnano, page 254-256 (which i rate as one of the very best book i own).
