Jenson Button - Head and Shoulders

Sebastien Vettel - Head and Shoulders

Mark Webber - Canberra Milk

Michael Schumacher - L'Oreal

Damon Hill and Murray Walker - Pizza Hut

Nigel Mansell - Money Supermarket

Dreadful stuff. The Schumacher ad being the worst. What L'Oreal can do for a head of bristle I don't know. Any other good ones ?

Talking of adverts, there was a superb advert with Allan McNish and Audi promoting the Le Mans 2011 race during ITV's Champions League coverage. Around 3 minutes long as well. Great ad.

Come on dude, H&S and L'Oreal ones are dull, but Mark singing Canberra Milk Kid, Murray dissing Damon and Nige getting the 'stache back on are epic scenes :D

Shell - Kimi Raikkonen and Giancarlo Fisichella. Easily the worst advert involving F1 drivers I've ever seen.

Well I must be the type of person these are made for because they either had me cracking up (for being so bad as to be funny or just funny) or thinking that the product was pretty cool. Hill/Murray @ Pizza Hut gets hilarious award. "He Spun it!" "Finishes Second Again!!" LOL

I remember a shampoo ad with Jean Alesi too, it was overdubbed with some other guy's voice, quite funny. Unfortunately I can't find it anywhere.

Awwwwww, come on, the Canberra Milk kid ad isn't THAT bad!!!!!!!!!!!!!

(Or maybe it's just the fact that, living in Canberra, I'm subjected to it at least once every commercial break during the GP/qualifying/buildup/RPM/general viewing and I've grown immune :drunk: )

The shampoo ads were pretty boring. I wouldn't call them incredibly dreadful or anything, but Vettel and Button have the worst hair in F1, and Schumi isn't far behind. Having them advertise shampoo is pretty ****ed up right here.

The Canberra Milk advert, on the other hand, just about made me lose all respect I had for Mark Webber. It was prue torture. Worst ad ever. By some margin.

The Pizza Hut advert was incredibly fun and made me want pizza, and the one with Nige was quite funny too.

Who needs F1 to promote their cars, when they can create memorable ads like that one?

One of the shittiest "professional" videos I've ever seen. And I say that as a filmmaker, who's seen tons of amateur stuff. Amateur stuff that way outshines this commercial in terms of quality.

Didn't Lewis Hamilton star in some horrible promotion/ad a few years back? I seem to remember that the team and Lewis said such a thing would never happen again.

Really? You obviously haven't seen many bad ads then.

For background, it's actually part of a series. Doing the Canberra Milk ad is actually great for Mark because it gets him on TV in his home town more regularly. And trust me, Mark's wasn't the worst by any stretch of the imagination. One of the ads was done by a blonde chick who made the final 10 on Australian Idol. All I can say is, if she was a final 10 singer, the judges had earplugs in. Mark's monotone is hilarious. Her screeching is not.

Exactly - Audi don't need F1, how many times does Dr Ulrich need to say it?

Does anyone remember a Shell ad from the 80's where a father and son are at an arcade with an F1 game? The Dad gets in to have a go and the car turns to real. Been trying to find it for ages.

I guess this ad just wins the prize for "McLaren's worst moment of the season".

I can see that you might not get the 'parfum' parody. It's probably even less funny when it's explained but worth watching various Chanel/Davidoff/Boss adverts to get the point.

It's still pretty woeful as a parody, in my opinion. Still, on the upside, at least Santander don't have him breaking into the homes and cars of terrified looking members of the public this time round...

Maybe Santander are still nursing a grudge about McLaren not keeping Alonso and are making their drivers perform these mildly humiliating antics as punishment...

Edited: added in the ads. Enjoy!

Some of that was seriously creepy. I wouldn't have minded being accosted in the street by Jessica Ennis-Hill, but opening your front door to find Jenson in racing overalls waiting behind it was enough to give the sensitive nightmares. Mind, he was a bit less wooden than that golfer feller, not that that was saying much.

honestly, i was expecting him to yell

Kame-hame-ha or Kaio-Ken with those moves :p

it would've made a lot of sense then and would've been popular with students, if that's what santander wants to sell to the students.

oh...wow... :rotfl:

I just don't understand how these kind of commercials are being made. First someone has an idea and then a lot of people have to agree on it and see the final result (including the drivers). I can't believe more than one person thought this commercial is good :cat:
Same goes for the Santander one with Jenson :stoned:
