Afternoon chaps. My father, who is a member of the Norwich Vintage Motorcycle Club, tells me that one of their members, Mr Jim Allard, passed away recently. Apparently, he was an engineer with TWR and was involved with the Le Mans Jaguars of the 1980s. Can anyone remember him or does anyone have any more information on him?

Hi, there is a Facebook group 'Tom Walkinshaw Racing (TWR)' for ex employees which seems quite popular. They might be able to help you with info.

Thanks, I'm going away on holiday tomorrow, but I'll check it when I get back.

Update: I made a mistake on his name - he was Jim Ellard and he worked at a company called "Venture Tech" who did R&D work for TWR on the Le Mans, saloon and F1 (presumably Benetton/Arrows) projects.
