The British Columbia Historic Motor Races take place July 16-18 at River's Edge Raceway, Mission, B.C., Canada. This year's event will feature the "Canadian Motorsport Experience". More info at this link:

We had hoped that Walter Wolf would be attending, but we just found out last week that he won't be able to join us.
Shall we arrange for a TNF photo op? David Birchall? Mike Gee? Tom Johnston? Jeff Weinbren? Sunday at noon might be best for me. Thoughts?

Some TNF photos.
From Seattle two weeks ago:
From left, Mike Martin (grimeheel), Martin Rudow, and Robert Barg (oldtransamdriver)
From the BCHMR:
From left, I am with David Birchall (common taters) and Robin Fairservice (Friday was a day off from timing/scoring)
From left, I am with Taisto Heinonen (five time Canadian rally champion), George Chapman (1966 Canadian racing champion), and Tom Johnston (TEJ) (in "pole" position).
Great weekend. Winners included Tim Pickstone, Porsche 356C, Paul Valkenburg, Volvo, Geoff Tupholm, Mini, Mark Brown, Lotus 7, Doug Yip, Sunbeam Tiger, Paul Kuckein, Camaro, and Ian Wood, Rawlson. Who else won, etc. after I left on Sunday, David? Sorry about the early checkered flag call (I mistook a five-minute board for a last lap board; my bad, as they say).

A Harvard flyover on Sunday was also a highlight.

In a short break from Timing & Scoring, I went as passenger in the Pace Car, a nearly new Ford Mustang convertible.

After completing my Chipmunk training with the RCAF as a F/O rookie (Flt. 6003 Centralia ON.) the Harvard was to be my next training adventure. Alas, it didn't happen as a medical problem intervened and I never got the chance to fly it.
They said if you could fly a Harvard you could fly just about anything.
