Epsilon's chief designer Sergio Rinland has confirmed in an interview with Corsa that the team tested its F1 prototype in the wind tunnel for the first time last week. Following the rumours that FIA wouldn't choose a new team for next season considering the problems with this season's newbies I see this as a big push to Epsilon's chances. "The design is pretty advanced" said Rinland. Now they need to find the budget...

They should get the spot, they're the only competent team in the running for the grid spot and would most likely be fairly good straight out of the box.

That was a students project and they didn't keep with it because there was no sponsors interested. This time they'll have to probe to Bernie that they have the money and Villadelprat has said many times that he will only enter F1 if he has founds to secure the first three years.

Apparantly Villeneuve/Durango already has strong funding in place so, if the FIA accept anybody at all, it will come down to the Villeneuve or Epsilon Euskadi bids.

I'd say JV has the edge right now.

FIA should already make a decision , personally , i don't care who gets the spot , both options looks decent , mayby even both of them could get spot in next year , as we don't have idea about Virgin and HRT , though HRT started to hire Toyota staff , mayby next year gonna be better
