Lots of dirt and grime had accumulated on that old Coop over the past 19 years, so we gave it a fresh look for Pebble Beach, but it took 3 full days!
No trailer queen, she's got bumps and nicks and that's how we like 'er. :)

The bad news is that the engine is stuck, probably got some water in it while sitting and no time to repair, so it will be a static display. :(

Looks spotless to me! But photos do flatter a bit (unless they're passport photos).

Shame about the engine, I guess that's the next job.

Lovely stuff! Can I have a go next time you run her?

Gary, as soon as the engine is repaired, meaning as soon as I can convert some of my tin toys into cash to do so!
The damned thing has leaked coolant into a cylinder and rusted the rings, I am pretty sure. :(
At least she will shine, but what a disappointment. It never did that before in 19 years of a lot of use...
Maybe I will O-ring the whole head and forget the damned head gasket this time.

Well, that's no good then. Say, is this the car I saw at the Petersen in about 2005?

I had loaned it to the Petersen for an Indy exhibit they had then.
