Sportscars for me. There's nothing better than long-distance, multi-class battles of prototype giants and GTs.

And I do have a problem with bikes, they don't interest me at all, dunno why.

Whatever Kimi is doing nowadays... Drag racing?

Well, i've heard he's dragging a little bit, not necessarily dressed in drag.;)Are you saying Kimi is racing in drag?

I started off as a devout F1 fan. It's now got to the point where I'll watch it if there's no other racing on.
Bikes are my favourite form of racing. They've still got the atmosphere that F1 lost several years back.

I've tried to watch Moto GP on TV several times and while I think it should theoretically appeal to me, it just doesn't get my heart pumping. I don't know why, but I'm just not a bikes person.

Is Superbikes what they show on ITV4 in the UK? To be honest, I didn't really get into that either. Maybe I'll try Moto2 on iPlayer though.Maybe you'd change your mind after watching Moto2 or Superbike.;)

the main reason for F1 being F1 is the drama it brings. The title fights and multiple inter team battles all rolled into one.

F1. Other single seaters next. Bikes are boring imho.
Btw, why is rallying an option? Rallying isn't racing. I enjoy it, but it isn't racing, it is rallying.

Are they not timed over the various stages, with the winner being the one to do the whole event the quickest? Sounds like racing to me.

Because if I'd have left it out of the poll, people would have wondered where it is?
Posted 18 August 2010 - 21:49
No. Racing involves first past the line, all on track at once. Rallying is fastest over stages. Qualyfying isn't racing for example, and nor is rallying.

No, racing does not only mean all on track at the same time. It can be one at a time against the clock.

Karting - even Senna preferred it over F1
Posted 19 August 2010 - 21:55
Can anyone tell me what's the appeal of touring cars? Why prefer touring cars over sports cars? The touring cars are boring (aside from those in the DTM) and I find the action too slow for my taste.
