Does it exist?...

an archive, even a partial one, of the riders numbers used in MotoGp and Superbikes past seasons?

for example, a list of all numbers with the name of the riders who used that number in bike racing..

thanks
Luca

The Official MotoGP results 1949-2009 Guide certainly carries no such info. Numbers were random until the late seventies/early eighties anyway, Luca. I'd imagine the practice of carrying one number for the season was a result of European exposure to American racing, where it was the norm.

There are individual lists for each World Superbike race, including entry numbers, from 1990 to 99 here: http://www.wsb-archives.co.uk/ . No lists by number though, it'd be cluttered with all the different one-off entries using the same number.
