I am not old on this Forum, but noticed that a lot of you people like F1 photos !?
I thought I'd start a sort of quizz that is quite amusing, and sometimes frustrating...

You post a picture of an F1, or a car disputing an F1 race in any context.
The purpose is :

1. Which Car
2. Who is the driver
3. The year
4. Where

Don't keep it going too long as it might get annoying. Hints are welcome when stagnation arises.
If, after a while the question remains unanswered, give the answer and you get to ask a new one.
The one who finds the answer gets to launch the new query.
Note : you might have to change the file name when downloading, as sometimes the answer might appear on the file launched by the image hosting software !

Ready ? Go ! An easy to start...

You sure that's 2007 ? I think the MP4/22 had "horns" on each sides of the airbox, the MP4/23 did not.

The MP4-22 had its horns removed for the Belgian Grand Prix. I initially thought the photo was of the MP4-23 as well, but, as Titov has pointed out, the car as a yellow T-cam, signifying that Hamilton was the second driver that season (to Alonso).

The easy way is to spot the "MM" logos on the front wing which were in place for 07, but removed for 08...

"MM" (Mutua MadrileƱa) sponsorship on front wing endplates give it away too, a Spanish insurance company that followed Alonso from Renault

absolutely sure. MP4/22 had no horns by Spa already, plus the yellow camera enclosure on top of Hamilton car's airbox confirms it's 2007

The point was that the car has a red T-cam, which it also had in 2008, and didn't have in the original photo; thus it was from 2007.

Another point that is made quite succinctly with that photo is that the 2009 Mclaren was fuuuuuuuggggly.

Posted Image

I can only guess that the photo is taken at Rouen in the '65-'66 era, and that it's an F2 car participating in the GP with a privateer driver?
