Maybe dynasties is the wrong word, but with regulations each year possible bringing cars closer to each other in performance, and a host of number 1 drivers locked in for some time you would think. If mercedes and renault lift their game as I expect they will, and manage to hold on to rosberg and kubica as their number ones, we could very well have 5 top teams close to each other in performance with the same number 1 drivers for a VERY long period of time. The end of the silly season as we know it!

With the rule changes and reintroduction of KERS I think it's more likely that one team will get things right and run away with the championship.

True but I was more so meaning I think we will have the same number 1 drivers in the same teams for a very long time, and it could very well be in the top 5 teams. I wasnt so much talking about how close or not everyone will be next year. With the rule changes and reintroduction of KERS I think it's more likely that one team will get things right and run away with the championship.
I could easily see hamilton and alonso doing the rest of their careers at their current teams. And vettel at RB for a very long time. If they decide to only go the number 1 route where does that leave rosberg and kubica? Number 1 in their respective teams who may close the gap in performance relativrely soon. If this happens, 5 top teams, 5 number 1 drivers for maybe quite a long time.

I can easily imagine in the next years Robserg and/or Kubica land in McLaren and/or Ferrari if Button and/or Massa don't deliver, and Mercedes and/or Renault don't deliver.

Once again i'm surprised about how much ppl's opinion about Rosberg changed - in a positive way for him.

Nothing suprising in it, he made a decent job in this Mercedes, having a yardstick that at least due to his achievments is a better yardstick than the former team-mates of Nico.
