Nordschleife!

But after seeing the drivers reactions in Korea, I think only Hamilton would have the balls to race there.

Please replace Circuit de Catalunya with it. In this day and age it should be possible to make it safe for the drivers.

There should be an american gp also perhaps at long beach, indy was horrible imo

I would also love to see monza without the chicanes, that would solve f1's overtaking problems

I'd rather just have 20 races at the Nordschleife every year than at 20 different tracks.

I miss the atmosphere of Imola.

Same here. All those little houses right next to the track, the trees, the tifosi, the track was pretty cool too (though maybe not always the greatest race).

I adored Adelaide. The 94 GP there was the first race i remember getting up in the middle of the night for. I didnt even pay attention to Hill/Schuey, i was just devastated Berger ran wide at that corner.

I think a race at Road America would be a great spectacle. Probably my favouite track i ever watched the CART cars race at. I'll always miss the old Hockenheim, even if it didnt provide the best of races.

The Indy 500 as an F1 world championship race. Hell, even stick the IRL cars in at the same time. It would be great as a way to promote F1 in America, and IRL globally.

To be honest, I know F1 is a hopeless case with regards to the old, classic tracks, so here are a few things I'd do to make it more fun.

- Bring back manual shifting.

- Teams can enter 3rd cars if they wish.

- Allow 1-car teams again.

- Bring back the bus stop at Spa.

- Keep slapping team principals until the agree to change the ugly liveries (and there are so many this year) to sexy ones. Blood red Ferraris with black wings, orange McLarens, etc.

- Stop the hypocrisy of which tracks are not 'safe' enough for races. If Singapore and Monaco are safe enough, then Zandvoort, Road America, Watkins Glen, Long Beach, etc. are surely safe enough as well. If we're all going to hold our breath and think happy thoughts at some races, why not at all of them?

I believe he might be referring to one or two of the rather grim fatal accidents Watkins Glen has given us. The baby blue armco wasn't always baby blue :(.

True, they have done a lot of work to it, the runoff at T1 has a very F1 look about it.

I would never want F1 there though, knowing what would happen to it. Luckily its in the middle of nowhere so its perfectly safe ;)

I agree. As much as I'd like to see an F1 race in my own backyard at Mosport, the race itself would be overshadowed by the fact the FIA tends to rip the heart and soul out of every track it goes to.

I wouldn't complain if Estoril returned. There was some good racing there, I think the the way cars came off the last turn allowed them to follow closely and get a tow along the straight which gave them opportunity to pass in turn one.

I agree with who said manual shifting, I think dumping the paddle shift and moving back to a normal manual box would improve the racing. ie people missing a gear etc.

The South African Grand Prix (A world Championship deserves an event on the African continent)

 +1

Please add Zandvoort as well ...

A Mickey Mouse track with serious safety issues and no chance to make it commercially.

Any F1 race at Brands Hatch...

Have a look at the F2 race when young Henry Surteese died there as a result of insufficient run offs. That accident could never have happened on an F1 certified track. They have zero chance to bring that track up to standard and F1 should never race there. http://www.youtube.c...feature=related

original Hockenheim not that it could ever happen now :(

 +1 A crying shame that Bernie blackmailed them into destroying that track and busting themselves in the process. I hate the old bugger for that stunt.

Henry Surtees' death has about the least to do with the track he was on as is humanly possible. That accident could've happened if they were racing in a pillow factory in Heaven with walls made of purple feathers and pink bubble gum.

Racing fatalities were a regular occurrence in the 1960s and '70s, but check the Nostalgia Forum, that particular accident carries with it an especial horror. :(

Just give me Hermanos Rodriguez and Kyalami back and I would be a happy man... And please, don't use that Tilke guy to make them accomplish current F1 standards -- both countries have excellent architects and engineers and whatever else is necessary to do it!
