I'll be there doing my Midget & Sprite thing on the Club's stand. I'll pop over ans say hello if I get the chance.
I'm still trying to come to terms with losing my TNF Badge there last year.

Too many cars to mention really but I even managed to catch up, on the Simca Club stand, with the ex-Patrick Collection Talbot Samba cabriolet with which I previously had some involvement.
The ex- Patrick Collection Talbot Samba. The Collection had a Sunbeam Lotus too...and an... err...Talbot Tagora! All hidden away until sold (although I think that the Sunbeam was retained) at auction a few years ago.
The organsiers of the celebration back in April this year to mark the 40th anniversary of the World Cup Rally had a special display that feartured, amongst others, the winning Escort (FEV1H) of Hannu Mikkola and Gunnar Palm. This was one of the truly great long distance events and one that captured the public's imagination in a way that few events have done since. From the Abingdon entries, the stand had one of the 1800s as well as the Austin Maxi driven by HRH Prince Michael of Kent and the Triumph 2500 that was severely damaged in the accident suffered in South America by Andrew Cowan and his crew. This is XJB304H that has been owned for many years by Patrick Walker. I took a serious look at purchasing this car in about 1982 when it was being sold by Julius Thurgood so it was nice to be able to sit in it again. I used to drive Brian Culcheth's second placed car (XJB305H) back in the early 1970s and I believe that this car was subsequently broken up.
All in all a great display and nostalgia at its best! Well done to everyone involved.

Two views of Patrick Walker's Triumph 2500 World Cup car. XJB304H was driven in the 1970 World Cup Rally by London to Sydney Marathon victors Andreew Cowan and Brian Coyle with Uldarico Ossio. The car was supported by The Football Association.

Over at the MPH Show (combined admission with the NCMS), Jason Plato's BTCC winning Chevrolet seemed to be ignored by most visitors as far as I could see.
This Bedford CF ice cream van was next to Beaulieu's Top Gear stand and was promoting one of hundreds of Jeremy's forthcoming DVDs out in time for Christmas!
The Macallan whisky stand was displaying the ex-Ayrton Senna Lotus 99T (chassis 4) courtesy of Classic Team Lotus.
Nice to see the 1988 Le Mans winning Jaguar XJR9 on the JDHT stand.
The Morris Minor Owners Club was celebrating 50 years of a lilac assault on the senses.
And, mentioning Morris, there seemed to be fewer plummeting Marinas on the Steinway piano stand this year. Although, this one seems to be missing a leg.
