An excellent day spent with enjoyable company. I have to say that most of my visit was spent renewing acquaintances and chatting, rather than studying the exhibits, but I left with the impression that it was better than last year with something for everyone. Although time was spent browsing the bookstalls, I managed to resist adding to the library. Thanks to Mr Rainford for conveying a group of us in comfort from Cheshire. Delighted to meet Tim Murray for the first time.

Gentlemen, I'm touched. I was also extremely pleased to make your acquaintance.Indeed ...........a pleasure to meet Tim at last
I can say in their defence that as soon as I'd told Alan and Phil that they might find you and Roger taking sustenance in the cafe they set off to try to find you, but were obviously too late.Mr Cox, how did you escape me today? Mr Rainford was under orders to make sure you didn't leave the building until I'd met you.

I was there at 1.00 pm. I asked Ted Walker if there were any other TNFers about, and he said that someone else had just asked him the same question, but when he looked around he couldn't spot this other person. A few more TNFers turned up a few minutes later. Sorry to have missed you.I turned up to meet fellow TNF folk on Friday at Ted at 1 pm and there was no one there. I meant to come back later but met so many others folk I forgot

The number 6 Elva in Giraffe's pictures had been converted to Porsche power (rather crudely in my opinion
I would be interested in your thoughts.

Suggest next year they use the hard standing areas for the Car Park......while create a Rally Stage in the fields

It was good to have you along, Ralph, and we all had a great day out (though the poor woman conducting the interviews on the stage in Hall 3 may now not have a very high opinion of us ).Thanks to Tim Murray for inviting me to the show and to everyone at the Bristol Pegasus MC who played a part in getting me there.

It's actully a Cheetah showcar http://www.classic-a...wcar-32733.aspx Sold for £7,700I was short of spare change for the H&H catalogue does any one recognise this Group C car ?
I thought it was a Sehcar and have since eliminated Argo, Alba, ALD, Gebhardt & EMKA from the list, it's certainly not a Nimrod or the Gipfast DPLM, so I imagine the Aston sticker on the nose may not be a useful clue.

Why on earth would anyone want to pay £7,700 for a heap of fibreglass on some scaffolding poles?!?!
