Recently found a James Allington drawing of a Cooper T68.
However I have never found any trace of any such car in the championship tables. Does anyone has further info?

According to Doug Nye's Cooper book the T68 was a "Monaco GT project - 1963 - Contrary to 'Register' entry shelved."

The drawing is showing a 1500cc Formula One single-seater.
Maybe the type number is misprinted on the drawing.
I will try to scan it and post it.

Just a guess - could it be the T69, which Hodges says was "apparently the designation for the monocoque F1 project"?
Designed by Owen Maddock, composite construction: aluminium skin, fibregass inner hull. A hull was completed, but the project was dropped.
I don't have the Nye book, so I don't know if he lists it. I can't see a mention of it in Lawrence either.

www.race-cars.com lists the T69 as a Formula Junior monocoque prototype.

It looks to me like a 1964 (T73) or 1965 (T77) Formula car. Most probably the latter as the 1964 car didn't have the upper radius arms when it was first introduced. Whateveer it is, you can be sure that the type number caption is a modern edition. Cooper type numbers were never quoted until right at the end of the company's life.

Nye lists the T69 as F1 monocoque prototype - 1964 - Register credits works and Gerard F1s as Type 69s.
But as Roger says there is much doubt about the Cooper type numbers. Nye says as much in his list of type numbers. "The team itself never worried overmuch about Type numbers, ans one written record inevitably often differed from another. Typical Cooper - getting the cars ready on time and winning races is what mattered...."

While the T68 remains a mystery, it seems like a strong possibility that this is the Type 69 mentioned by several in this thread. The drawing was from Unique Motor Books publication "The Cooper Years". As usual with their work, it is made up of photocopied pages of period magazine articles. Usually the articles are listed with source and year. (..., The Autocar, 1959) But this drawing has not any source reference, and that adds to the confusion...

It's the 1964 car in its post-Monaco form with front radius arms. The drawing appears in Autocourse 1964. The T69 was never built.
