Here is what I have from Cohin :

Four qualifying heats for the following classes : over 3000cc, 1500 to 3000cc, 1100 to 1500cc and less than 1100cc. All four run on 10 laps of the 26,300 km track. From the results of the heats are taken the qualifiers for the Final and the handicap starting times of each finalist. I, unfortunately, do not have the results of the heats

Sabipa, Drouet and Rigal retired, laps and reasons unknown.

Race run under intense heat. Williams was still second, one minute behind Rousseau at the beginning of the last lap. Great rush to first place.

The 1928 ACF Grand Prix was not only a sportscar race, but – as FEV says - run on handicap.
Casse was of course in a Salmson, not the Sunbeam that somehow slipped into Frank’s results

About the entry list I've sent, is it possible to check it with, for example, pictures of the meeting ? What was the starting number of Brisson and his Stutz ? I guess it was #4, but I would like to have confirmation ! Archives d'une passion (book of Antoine Raffaelli) contains pictures of Williams and Drouet's cars (#48 and #42)
