The "How long will it take to lap Yoong" Competition!

Here's how it works. All you have to do is post the number of laps you think Alex Yoong will complete before being lapped by the race leader. For example, if you think Yoong will finish 16 laps in Melbourne before spinning out when MS, DC, or JPM appear in his mirrors, post "16."
I will collect all of your guesses throughout the season (all two of you who actually participate) and calculate how many laps off you were in total. The person with the lowest score after Suzuka will have the dubious honor of being the most capable person in the Atlas Forum of recognizing a loser .
To start things off, my guess for Australia is: 18.
Your submissions for Australia must be in before February 28th .

Well, let's say you think he'll crash out on lap 4. Obviously he will immediately be lapped, so your pick should therefore be "4." If you're saying you don't think he'll finish a lap (heh), put "0."

Top marks for stupidity. That's why I am playing
Lap 11 (coz he will finish the standing lap even more than 7 seconds behind the leaders)

And if he gets into the race...9
I think the pace-car has more chance to finish ahead of AY
This has to be the best competition of all !!

Oh bugger it... too resisting...... lap 15.
Oh and just to clarify... you said it is the lap that Toong is on? Not the lap that the leader is on?
(someone mentioned they didn't think yoong would finish lap 1 and hence put down lap 2 as thier guess...... but by the rules as I read them it would be scored as lap 1)

I guess 0, Yoong will be outside 107% in qualifying
So he makes 107% with a 3 year old engine constantly but he won't with a brand new Asiatech?
You have the brains of a cabbage.

After the start he will tail the field by so far he will be clear of the first lap mayhem and will tour at 6 secs a lap slower than Schumi.
He will be lapped on the 14th lap.
Excellent competition.

You have to guess how many laps Yoong will actually complete before being lapped. In other words, how many times will he cross the finish line after the start. If he wipes it on the first lap, he will be considered to have completed "0" laps. The person in your example should have put "1" instead of "2."
Don't think too hard about this! The competition is supposed to be for lazy b@stards, remember?

But just in case, I predict that a multi-car pile-up on the opening lap will mean that:
a) Three of the leading cars will be out before Yoong.
b) Yoong will get 4 free laps behind the pace car.
c) He will be eclipsed by Fisichella (the leader by then) on lap 16.
Mark has spoken. All hail.
