Score for the average contribution: 24 points

A whole bunch of points missed in the first round already! Webber is the biggest surprise, but also Irvine and Salo have surprised a few already. Personally, scoring just 22 points and being behind Pascal makes this race a huge disappointment. Liked the race though.

The average contribution consists of the average points placed on each driver, rounded off to integer values and to make the points sum 442. It is as follows:

M Schumacher 91
Montoya 67
Coulthard 62
R Schumacher 52
Barrichello 46
Räikkönen 42
Fisichella 15
Heidfeld 14
Trulli 11
Villeneuve 9
Button 8
Panis 6
Massa 5
Irvine 4
Frentzen 3
Sato 3
de la Rosa 2
Bernoldi 1
Salo 1
Alesi 0
Alonso 0
McNish 0
Webber 0
Yoong 0
Zonta 0

Drivers' listings

This season I will continually post three measures of how well the drivers are doing compared to the participants' expectations:

-The surprising drivers list: A 100 % surprise is defined by scoring one more point than anyone expected. This list shows how close to that score a driver is. For example, the highest amount of points placed on Montoya this year was 100. If JPM scores 101 points, he will have achieved a 100 % surprise. After this first race, his surprise value is 5.9 %.

Current standings:

Webber 50.0 %
Irvine 30.0 %
Salo 20.0 %
M Schumacher 6.0 %
Montoya 5.9 %
Räikkönen 4.3 %
All other drivers 0 %

-The expectations fulfillment list: how many % the driver has scored of the average expected final result for him, defined by the average contribution above (or rather the non-rounded off values). For example, if Michael Schumacher scores 91 points this year, he will have fulfilled our expectations 100 %, but not more.

Current standings:

Webber 575.0
Salo 85.2
Irvine 78.0
M Schumacher 11.0
Räikkönen 9.6
Montoya 9.0
All other drivers 0 %

So, due to the low expectations on Webber, he has already fulfilled them a couple of times already. And that in just one race! Alex Yoong actually also has fulfilled the expectations on himself, since no participant has placed a single point on him...

-How many participants each driver has surprised so far: A participant is defined as being surprised by a driver as soon as the driver has scored more points than the participant expected. The maximum possible score for a driver is naturally the amount of participants in the competition, this year 46.

Current standings:
Webber 44
Salo 18
Irvine 14
All other drivers 0

Great game indeed. Thanks, Makarias.

Räikkönen will bring me the victory.
