I'm João Pinho, i leave in the south side of the river Tagus, Lisbon is in the north side of the river, i'm 25 years old and my fav. driver...i'll choose one i saw racing, Nigel Mansell, the first time i went to a event was some pop-cross racing with the 2CV in the early 80's, actualy i think i went to some with only 1 year old(1977) but i can't remember those , my father raced in that championship for several years and later in auto-cross in division 3.
if you want more details just ask me.
Like you i have a fascination for the old racing times, and old racing circuits, i love your San remo article, and i'm actually using it to build the track for GP3, because i'm not just a lover of that old circuits, but i also want to drive them...in a virtual way of course, i have several Monsanto pictures and from others circuits but normally they don't cover the whole circuit and that's a shame, i'm glad to share all with you, just name the circuit and i send them.
i have:
tripoli (also some video clips), san remo, pau, roosevelt raceway, monza, donnington, avus, parco valentino, milano-parco sempione, albi, monsanto, boavista, monthelry, crystal palace, gávea and the old helsinki circuit.

I'm portuguese and live in Odivelas, near Lisbon. I'm a regular reader of this forum, and a not so regular poster.
Now in portuguese...

I will probably attend the Montalegre track day in Aug 5, the Murça hillclimb, Sept 6, and the Vila Real Revival, in Oct 16.
Things really happen in the north these days...
Is there anything really interesting at Estoril in the next few weeks?

I dont have GP3 now (I dont know where the CD is)
I used to "race" mainly in GPL, but recently I most left it for Nascar2003 (Mods), Richard Burns Rally and, recently RFactor (demo).
I may want to try the track for GPL (Sergio Loro completed it) or a version for Nascar2003 that I have in my HD
Tell me if you need more help as I live right by the circuit (Av. Antunes Guimarães) I have hundreads of fotos (old and recent) and have already made the tracK for other sims
Um abraço

Hello brickyard,
I am happy to meet the person behind www.geocities.com/portugalracers - I found your site in the web some months ago: excellent idea for a project!
I am particularly curious about the dates in which the lay-out of Vila do Conde was changed (when the first chicane was added, when the second one was introduced, etc.).
Um grande abraço do amigo brasileiro que adora Portugal,
Muzza

Hello Muzza,
I will find the data you required, and I'll put it here soon.
If you like my site right now, you will love it when I'll update it later this week.;)
