Here's Vic at a rather obscure event: the Nova Lisboa 6 hour race, Angola, 6 August 1972.
Vic was 2nd overall sharing the Lola with Gérard Larrousse.

God bloody blimey!!! Found some words writen by the man himself who won the first ever event of that motor sport I'am working in and for since 1974 now. Must get your book as soon as possible "Quick Vic", especially if it contains some more information about that certain Saturday, 4th February 1967, when Robert Reed (ITV), Bud Smith (750 MC), Bill Chesson (Lydden Circuit) as well as all other parties involved gave birth to Rallycross. And shame on John Sprinzel for calling the baby Rallycross instead of RallyRacing... ;)

Kind regards from Germany and an old Rallycross crusader to Florida!

Wow thank you. For me, that alone is worth buying your book!
