If there are any queries plese study the Group 1 of 33 thread.

Group 2 will be contested by these four drivers, perhaps an easier choice in this group, perhaps not. As always, the top two after 24 hours go through.

1.Alberto Ascari
2.Peter Gethin
3.Mike Parkes
4.Keke Rosberg

Please feel free to leave your comments below explaining your choices. To clarify something even further, if only one driver in the group polls all the votes then, the second place driver will be determined by the highest race to points average to date.

Ascari. I hope Rosberg comes second and makes it to the next round.

Well, this one is much clearer cut than Group 1. It has to go to Ascari doesn't it? I imagine Rosberg will be second, but Gething and Parkes were tidy drivers, anyone reckon they could have had Rosberg in a straight fight?

This is like putting Arsenal in the Cup semi finals with Spennymoor Town, Marine and Stalybridge Celtic! ;)

Ascari by a country mile!

Mike Parkes deserves a vote too. He was not just a good driver, but a great development engineer too. Remember the Lancia Stratos? :)
