Well, finally I'm here (... of course... what a stupid phrase ;) one is always "here" wherever (s)he is)

Nobody got a six... courtesy of certain "dark-glassed" boy (actually an old boy) in the podium. Great result for Eddie and for Jaguar. This cornerless circuit did possible to drive a engine without chassis, a dream for Jaguar :p

Incredible guile by SeanValen who got a five guessing Irvine in third place; the first time someone guess a podium for EI in this season    This is one of the best moves of the game so far! With this great assumption he got one point more than gerry nassar and Estwald and now he is just one point shy of the former.

Five people more got 5 points as well, all of them regulars and well known players here: Ric Bol, LB, Zawed, DeathMasteR and dynamite7.

In the low side there in the high end, sek had a not-so-good weekend with 3 points; sek is a magnificient player with three 6s, but with a touch of irregularity (is sek colombian? :) ). Tragic day for Ghostrider , BMW engines again showed their cruelty with players here. He is out of the title chase now  ;)

I want to greet to Jimmino , a new "guesser" here. He/she/it ;) did well with a solidly Ferrari based guess, that is a insurance nowadays. Welcome!

Now we are two races from the end. In my view, three title contenders remains: gerry nassar, Estwald and SeanValen . I can see yet some dim light for Viss1 (and his amazing dog Devo , his true adviser), he will need some amazing results, though. Sadly I don't see likely possibilities for such good players as Makarias , "amazing" dynamite7, sek or fisichella_2001 (our first leader).

On other side of things, I clap DeathMasteR for his/her sprint of late: 11 points in two rounds equals the best record in the game, and it has got him/her rid of MAX (by now). Not exactly the case of Schuting Star , who is fighting "bitterly" with BERNIE and frankly well below that evil MAX ;)

I want to propose a new "norm" for the first three classified (gn, E and SV) for the last two GPs. In order to improve the quality of the fight for the title, I propose they make the guess by private messaging (at me). In this case they can be surprised by the others two "rivals" and the suspense can be greater. One disadvantage is they will have to trust in my fair-play about their guesses! I'd like to receive opinions from gn, E and SV about this norm and if they see some fatal pitfall I have not think about

Again and again, I don't get tired to say: thanks for play here with us! The key is to pass good moments and to smile a bit maintaining a good spirit  Really I like your comments about your results (before and after the official  classification is published) :)

We will meet again for that unknown, lonely place called... how is it?... someone knows how to spell it?... Indianapolis...  (and I hope the ineffable Tony refines the F1 track a bit, BTW)

Thanks a lot Schummy!! Excellent competition as always!

Didn't have that good of a round myself, but I will try to be radical for the last two races. :smoking:

Really good idea to let the leaders PM you their guesses, , however it does also mean I cannot copy Sean's guesses for US GP. : ;)

Have a good week Schummy!

 :( I will have to resign myself to the Rubensesque policy of being beaten by Max and concentrate on finishing ahead of Bernie. At least I have some regular players below me, including you Schummy! ;)

Thanks for including my guess from the last race. :)

You are right, Schutty! I'm not doing very well at all against M&B (not Mercedes Benz, I mean). Has someone noted I don't mention myself lately?  My only hope is to rest unobserved...

Good idea about the PM's - if I was still in the top 3 ( ), I'd think it would add some suspense.

LB:

Great round in GtR!
Here, in GtP, that hungarian risky move is costing you dear ;) If we drop Hungary and Belgium, you could be fighting with that wise people above MAX!

Ric Bol:

Your last two 5s are the third best score in the last two rounds. I'd like to have had one like that :| I'm looking for your two next GPs (maybe to copy your guesses ;) )

I knew Irvine would get a podium, just felt good about it, 5th place on the grid, Ferrari had to have 1-2, despite the usual victory on Saturday, I have to risk Irvine, when the championship is so close, like Schuey, Senna, its everything or nothing, and Irvine was my risk, and this time it worked out for me. Looking forward to the balance of the season, the momentum swings Valen's way, like Ferrari in 1998, they writ them off at the start, but kept on fighting, just hope I don't stall in the Suzuka prediction grid, and tyre blow out on my reply, no no, but will fight to make it exciting just like Schuey Japan 98, excellent.

Thanks Schummy. And Gerry/Estwald ...................................................good job:up: But FIA video 98 quote, build up to Suzuka. "Michael eyes up the opposition, the psychological battle as important as the techinical one." Valen is cool, but Gerry/Estwald, even cooler. The competitors shakehands for a fair fight.
