Hello people! I was hoping that you could help me here!

You see, I'm doing a project on the Lotus72, and I have plently of pics of the car itself, but I need some pics of the back of the car.

I was thinking the rear end in general, the DFV, and side pics which clearly show the engine and gearbox.

So I was hoping that some of the esteemed people here can supply me with some.

I suspect you will get trillions of replies...but if I can be first here is a shot of a very early car with John Miles driving, Brands 1970. Note the roll over bar...on later cars it is not braced from the engine in that way.

John, you might as well buy a copy of this months' 'Motor Sport', it includes an article on Emerson and also a track test of chassis R8.

LittleChris, I'm afraid all the wanting in the world isn't going to get GPL72 made. I believe that such a thing is not likely.

Although I sincerely hope I'm wrong.

Oookay here goes: :)

1) I was hoping for pics on the 1972-73 version of the var :)
2) It has nothing to do with GPL1972
3) Lemme sy something onn GPL1972:

- Papy had started GPL 1972, when Sierra ordered them to produced N2002 instead (dang)
- N2003 will be the last ever Nascar game from Sierra, EA Sports have the license now.
So maybe, maybe, there is hope :)

A man is well advanced with a "GPL2", I am led to believe its 1973 not 72.

He started Papyrus and his initials are DK, but I cant tell you who he is other than he has been doing it in his own time, more or less as a hobby so there is no set finish date or even if it will ever be released, although I'm betting it will be depending on what Racing Legends ends up being all about.

Nothing thats been said here wasnt known for a long time already. Dont get your hopes too high.
To Mark Beckman, i can only hope he finds another calling in his life soon, as the winding up of people is getting boring. We know it now, ok?
