Here are some shots of the historic cars, taken on Friday afternoon at Indy, and from the Indy museum. The pics from the Ford museum at Dearborn show the 67 Lemans car front and center just inside the main entrance, while Clarks Indy Lotus was away in the back corner of the place  . Perhaps the curator doen't realize the significance of this car.

Great shots! Thanks for stopping by the HGP tent. It looks like you enjoyed yourself. Until you've been to Indy you can't really grasp what a special place it is.

Is it true that the track can't never close because of the taxes it owes
Speedway, Indiana. I heard a rumor that if it closed it becomes the property of the city because of this tax bill. Does anyone know what the real scope is on this topic?

David
Do you run your car as a 'Petersen' or as a 'Hans Stuck' model?

I have about a roll of pictures from the Indy HGP tent. As soon as I get them developed, I will post a link here too. They're taken with Canon EOS 30 , so they should be ok.

Until then, you can always enjoy the pictures from the Zolder pits during the 28th European Historic Grand Prix .

I kinda lost the programme  , so I am a bit lost with some of the cars. Any help in recognising them would be great!

David, I didn't realize that one of these beautiful cars was yours or I would have said hello. Everyone I did speak to was friendly and helpful( the man with the 71 Tyrrell said I could get as close as I wanted to). I had a fantastic time all weekend and you are quite right. The Indy track is quite an experience. Awe inspiring in fact.
