Seeing as there are many, many people here with incredible anecdotes to tell, I was wondering what the biggest 'foot in mouth' moment everybody remembers is? As a relative 'young scruff' I can't remember too many myself (apart from many Murray Walker ones :) ), but one that comes to mind is Peter Warr saying in late 1984 that Nggel Mansell 'Won't win a race as long as I have a hole in my arse'.

I think Lotus' gradual decline began when their budget for 1986 took a big hit to pay for Peters surgery ;). Over to you, chaps.

I recall one of the Autosport journalists telling the Benetton mechanics that he would take up tapdancing if one of their cars won the Japanese GP in 1990.

They finished 1-2
