Posters are very rare to find in general, because it's difficult to scan them...

Most interesting - I've just discovered that the car on that poster that is behind the Ferrari of Surtees and alongside the BRM of NGH was Bruce McLaren.
But not in colours we would recognise from that year - that is not the MGM colour scheme of Pete Aron but the intended colours of the first up McLaren F1 car.
Michael Turner created the poster for the 1966 German GP months in advance and it was he who had designed the new teams colours. So, with the benefit of inside knowledge, he put Bruce in the poster in the colours that the M2B, nor any works McLaren, was ever painted.
But not in colours we would recognise from that year - that is not the MGM colour scheme of Pete Aron but the intended colours of the first up McLaren F1 car.

From what I underrstand, it seems purely coincidental that the colours of the Pete Aron car and the 65 Tasman Coopers were similar.
I saw similar because as recall the Cooper being white with a green stripe (in Bruces case) but Phil Hills stripe, or at least his cars, may have been dark blue.
I've always thought of the Yamura colour had a black stripe. But then I thought Rindts helmet was black, not dark dark green...
Michael Turners proposed colour scheme sounds revolting. But I'm sure would have looked better than it sounds.
It was : Top of car - dark green
Bottom - silver
So those are the 'NZracing colours'.
Seperating the green from the silver was to be a yellow stripe that widened out around the nose.

Stripe was certainly Green,Mac. I was at Monaco & Brands in '66 and have the McLarens on colour film.It can hardly have been coincidence that Bruce painted his F1 cars in the same colours as his previous team of Coopers? The white & green also apeared on a Parnell Lotus 25 which subsituted for the non-existent second works McLaren to have been driven by Chris Amon.
Green and Silver were the official New Zealand colours on a list of comonwealth colours issued in 1958. Australia -Green & Gold;South Africa-Green & Buff.

So, what we know is this:
Fact 1: The Tasman Coopers were white with a green stripe - early 1965
