Hello to you all,

Being interested in corners names, I'm wondering why the "Nouveau Monde" at Rouen is so called ?
Does anybody have the explanation ?

Thanks in advance

If you miss your braking point for the hairpin and continue south for a couple of hundred metres, you'll find yourself in the village of Nouveau Monde. Simple as that

Given the breadth of knowledge on TNF, does any one Know why the village is called Nouveau Monde ? ;)

(Only half serious - or should that be demi-serieux?)

Think this translates as 'New World' a new suburb of Rouen when founded?
