Surely it was a Ford Cosworth DFV?

e.g. Ford sponsored Cosworth engine.

Wasn't it the BDG-2 litre 290 bhp? or am I confusing this with the T290?

No, I'm sure, 3L Ford Cosworth DFV engine was fitted on Lola T280.

That's right - the Bonnier T280s used the Cosworth-Ford DFV engine - the F1-derived 3-litre V8 detuned for longevity...

Thanks. I wasn't sure if it was a DFV or a 2 liter 4 cylinder.
