USRRC and NASCAR logo help.

I need to once again tap the TNF brain trust. Does anyone know who or perhaps what organization owns the rights to the former logo used by the United States Road Racing Championship (USRRC) series? Those following the saga here in Augusta realize we will be expanding the memorial project and we want to add the USRRC as well as the NASCAR logo to the memorial base along with the drivers names.

We have a pretty good feel where to attempt to get an OK to use the NASCAR "period correct" logo but not really sure about USRRC. Also, would any TNF'ers happen to have the USRRC logo from the early to mid sixties (1964)?

I'm pretty sure that the SCCA has the rights to the USRRC and Can-Am names (seeing the "revival" of it back in 1999 was licensed from them if I'm not mistaken).
