Here is a picture of Blue Flame in a German museum: Posted Image
but no details on when it was exposed (or still is?) Does anyone knows more? I see it was mentioned about a year ago in this thread but I'd presume it was/is just on the loan.

If it is still exposed in Germany I might consider going to see it. After all it is part of Croatian mitology, Gary Gabelich being of our origin.

Quote from site:
--------------------
Following its grand opening in 1981 the Auto & Technik MUSEUM SINSHEIM (the greatest private museum in Europe) has meanwhile developed into on of the major tourist attractions in Germany. Situated on an area of over 30.000m² indoors, and in open-air grounds comprising in excess of 50.000m², we are offering you more than 3,000.exibits...

Among them 300 vintage cars, 200 motorbikes, 40 race- and sports cars, 27 locomotives, 50 airplanes, 150 tractors, steam engines and trucks. Due to the addition of an IMAX 3D giant screen theater to our museum as well as numerous further attractions we are pulling an annual crowd of more than a million visitors.

WOW..very well thought out Transportation Museum..I will have to see it next time in Germany....

Hi dmj,

No need to go to Sinsheim.
You can have it delivered to your door...

Only if I break my self-imposed ban to buy any more models. After buying 100+ on eBay this year and zeroing my black days resources I decided to quit. And nothing will break my decision. Hmmmm... Blue Flame, you said? I might just take a look if any is on offer. But I won't bid! I promise...

After all just last week I managed not to buy Maisto Hummer in 1:18, so incredibly vulgar and enormous in metalic orange that I have to have it. But I'm still resisting.
