I have found only one match for this picture, #6, a M4A and the Vredestein ad, suggests that it is Robin Widdows at Zandvoort, 1968?

The caption in the period magazine states it is Piers Courage.

Piers Courage drove the John Coombs McLaren M4A carrying No.6 in the 1967 Grote Prijs van Zandvoort. It looks like Piers going by the helmet colours.

Great Rob, I was only checking '68, as the caption suggested '68.

But then I think the mystery is solved :up:

Rainer, the helmet in the picture is definitely Piers Courage.

Robin Widdows had a red helmet.

there is a picture of Widdows at the wheel of the Matra MS659 #35 at Le Mans 1969, he drove with co-driver Nanni Galli (yellow helmet) he has a red helmet.
