Fantasy Manager 2005 San Marino Results

San Marino was one of the most interesting races we have seen for a while. Raikkonen on pole only to have his car fail on him again. Button chasing Alonso in the early laps and then Micheal climbing through the feild during the first round of pitstops, only to stay there for the rest of the race! We (I) have gotten so used to drivers rising through the feild and then falling back again during the pitstops that it was a little surprising to see someone buck this trend for once. Those of you who have Fisichella in your teams, me included, will have been disappointed firstly at his 12th place qualifying position then his early exit from the race. I am starting to wonder if he really is the nearly man or does he "flatter to deceive"?

On to the San Marino results. Season to date leader zara racing takes first place with 657 points. While top 5 team Lickin Toads Racing takes out second. Rounding out the top 3 is Unfall. Season to date zara racing extends their lead to sit on 2689 points. Allero Racing holds on to 2nd while Lickin Toads Racing climbs to third. biggest mover this round was Luky's 2005 GP climbing 32 places to now lie 12th.

I have a tecnical question about the engine.

Because Cosworth and Toyota is supplying two teams and have 4 engines. What are your bases for the points in respect to the engines scores? Are you counting the first two engines that finishes disrefgarding if tehy are belong to different teams, for example, one RB retires but two mInardis fisnish, then, are the poins for one RB and one Minardi (the ones that finish in the best poistions) What are the basis for the points? Or one RB retires and one Minardi retires? there still two Cosworth teams finishing the race.

I'm a bit puzzle about that.

The same with toyota, which have Toyota and Jordan.

If you have a look again at the rules you will see that you can choose Cosworth running in Red Bull cars or Mco running in the Minardi's. The same with the Toyota engines.

Well, garth, I guess you have to calculate new San Marino results now the BARs are DQ'd?

I set up my team in the nick of time and chose the chasis and engine to keep my budget inside $54.

Begineer's luck, I suppose.

I think there is something in the rules about it. Something like ... If any part of your team is dq then you get a penalty and no points.
