------------------------------------------
Remember to consider the whole weekend, not just the race.
------------------------------------------
Step 1 - GP takes place & voting opens
Step 2 - Everybody votes according to these rules:

* You can give a driver either three, two or one point. (Or zero, which is default.)

* You can distribute no more than ten points (but less if you want to).

* You need to vote for at least two drivers.

If I feel you are simply voting for the fav driver each time I'll put you on the ignore list for a while. (I won't be voting myself, to make it fairer) Also not arguing over somebody elses votes or again on the ignore list you go. Posts should be along the lines of:

...3 points: the driver/s you think did the best job during the weekend
...2 points: the next best ones
...1 point: the ones after that

Make it clear which Schumacher brother you mean. Don't use the abbreviation Mont, as it could mean either Montoya or Monteiro.

Step 3- Voting will close in about a week

Step 4 - I'll add up the total number of votes. This will produce a 'race result'. Should drivers have the same voting score then I will split them by who has had the most Top Votes. If that fails then in reversed race result order.

Step 5 - The drivers will then be awarded championship points on a 10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1 system.
---------------------------------------------

------------------------------------------
Rate the race
------------------------------------------
Please rate the race from 0-10, using the following guide.

Quality of race
This should be a reflection of how good the race was, not how much you liked the results. Please don't give it a one or two just because driver X failed to win the championship. Think about how much it had your pulse racing and you guessing at what the end result was going to be. Use the guide below to help, and think carefully. Try to compare it not just to the last few races, but all the grand prix you've ever watched. Votes of 9 and 10 should be quite rare.

10 The best race I've ever seen
9 Contender for the best race of the last few seasons
8 Contender for the best race of the season
7 Brilliant race, I was on the edge of my seat for a lot of the race
6 Better than average, more than a few on the edge the seat moments
5 An average race, nothing spectacular but worth watching
4 Below average, too few exciting moments
3 Well, there was one or two moments of interest
2 That was completely predictable
1 I struggled to watch it all the way through
0 I slept through most of it

Satisfaction with the results
Please also rate the race in terms of how satisfied you are with the results. This one
should be based on if driver X wins the championship or not! Also factors such controversy
over DQ's that sour the event should be considered.

10 All the right results, and done with style
9 All the right results, if not in the best manner
8 Mostly the right results
7 Mostly the right results with a bit of luck
6 Some of drivers/teams I liked did well
5 Neither happy nor sad with the results
4 My likes didn't quite manage to do well
3 My likes did quite badly
2 My likes did quite badly and my dislikes did good
1 All the wrong drivers/teams did very well but I'll give them credit for doing it well
0 All the wrong drivers/teams did very well and the right ones did badly

Note: people who are on the Voting Championship ignore list can still participate in Rate the race.

Well, Flavio Briatore said he would be happy if they loose, right? so, he must be extra happy. :p Sheesh, talk about being carefull with what you wish for... Anyway, circuit Gilles Villeneuve:

2 points to hm, lots of people deserve two points. Lets start with Rubens Barrichello, a great race coming from behind. Also, showing that he is back on tip-top condition, Juan Pablo Montoya, gave us a good show. Black flaged part due to his fault, part due to the team that didn't sent a clear order for him. Now, a musical moment: Oh, you're on the top now, baby/ But not stays the same/ Oh, you're on the top now, baby/ But not stays the same/ Every other day/ Lady Luck deals another hand. This song comes from Kimi Raikkonen to the Renault Boys. Solid weekend by the iceman. On the other hand, Felipe Massa had a weekend to remember. Great qualys, and raced at least half of the distance holding faster cars. The 4th place was really welcomed, for him and the team.

1 point to With a better start, would Michael Schumacher have a shot to win this race? Probably; nevertheless, it was his only flaw on the weekend. And the last point goes to that warrior on track, Cristjan Albers. Took more from his ecquipment that one could dream of.

Quality: the change of qualys is welcomed; still want to see tyre changes: 6
Statisfaction: 8, a high note due to the performance of the brazilian duo... although I would prefer the other way 'round, with Massa on podium.

Kimi - 2 points (three minus being uninspiring in qualies: loosing to Montoya by 0,3 secs is a failure)
Montoya - 2 points (three minus red light ignore)

Barrichello - 1 point (more impressive than Michael)
Massa - 1 point (nice work all the way)
Trulli - 1 point
Coulthard - 1 point
Heidfeld - 1 point

Quality: 7 (Good show, enough controversy)
Satisfaction: 9 (Montoya disqualification took a way one point, douple DNf for Flavio gave some extra pleasure)

3 - Massa (excellent)
2 - Fisichella (unlucky - and was beating Alonso so kudos Fisi)
2 - M Schumacher (flattered by light fuel in Q, good race though)
1 - Coulthard (beat his teammate all weekend, something I didn't actually expect)
1 - Barrichello (good drive from the back)
1 - Montiero for setting a rookie finishing record apparently, (though didn't Pascal Fabre finish a lot in his first year?)
