Post-season stuff

Three little announcements:

First of all, the Silly Season Trophy... I won't be doing this any more, due to too little interest from others as well as from me. If anyone else wants to do something similar be my guest. I'll of course calculate the results for the 2005 game when it's time for that, though.

Second of all, the much loved Supercup will be calculated again. For future reference, here are some guidelines that I'll try to apply consistently over the years from now on:

-F1 based games that are concerning at least 2/3rds of a season will be included.
For example this season, eleven games will be included: GtGrid, GtResult, GtPole, GtPodium, GtTimes, HLWITTLZ, PTPC, Fantasy Manager, 10UG, Pools and Streaker's Club. If the final results of a game aren't posted within a month after the F1 season finale, I'll exclude that game from the calculations.

-The maximum number of games results included per BBer is the nearest percentage over74.99 of the total number of games for the season. This season, each Bber's NINE best game results shall count towards the total, as 8/11 = 0.72727... < 0.7499 < 9/11 = 0.81818...

-The top 50 in each game shall score points as follows:
-One point for 50th place, or last place in a game with fewer players than 50.
-One point more for each susequent higher position in the top 50.
-Bonus points for the Top Ten in each game: 20-15-12-10-8-6-4-2-1 points for 1st to 10th place.
-Tie-breakers used in each game will be noted only if they are clearly to be seen in the game's result list.
-Tied players share points.

Third of all, I'll try to bring up some cool average stats from the Quality and Satisfaction ratings that Voting Championship voters have been providing for the last three seasons. I'll try to figure out stuff like which tracks get high ratings, how high Satisfaction is when driver X wins etc.

Now, in reference to Supercup, in the last round's results I'll put the whole classification table of GtPodium to let you apply the 50 score rule easily. I usually hide in classifications those who have not played in the last three rounds. Please, remember me this issue when I put the result!

Oops, there should be a "3" conveniently placed between the "4" and the "2".

I'm still waiting for the final results of F1Pools, GtTimes and Streaker's Club so I can calculate the Supercup.

Send them (game runners) PM, otherwise, they can forget to post final results.

Just to let everyone know that I haven't actually forgotten about the game I've been hosting, I've just been true to my inner slacker and avoided the typing job. But I solemnly swear to do my best to get the final results posted within the next few days. Honestly. Maybe.

I'm still waiting for complementary PM entries to the GtTimes game from KWSN - DSM, but if I don't get any before Saturday, I'll calculate this shebang then.

Ah, sorry about the confusion then KWSN - DSM. It was your post in the Allrounders thread, mentioning "a number of PM entries", that confused me. I thought you had like a big heap of PM's somewhere!

Well in that case I'll still have the Supercup results up on Saturday. I'm too lazy to do them tomorrow.
