Anyone have any idea what the biggest motorcycle sale at auction was. I know ex-Ago or Surtees MVs have been in the US$250,000 range, but it would seem something must have gone for more than that.

This might not help your specific query re outright record holder v. much but at least it gives a sense of real sale prices realised during the past year via Bonhams auction house between willing buyers and willing sellers, REAL money in return for real machinery - well, it might be a liddle bit new-made but you know what I mean...
